Visit to Margar Village Ladies

It is wonderful to have an adventure to a village with my friend Susanna and her loyal driver.

Mangar village, Haryana, India

The paintings done by a local artist are wonderful.  I was sad when I could not find out more about the artist.  But we enjoyed wondering the village to see the paintings.

Beautiful Ladies

Such a fun painting

More Beautiful Ladies

This painting covered a big wall

As we walked through the village the ladies greeted us with wonderful smiles

Black feather on the path

In the little village of Kastellaun, I found a quiet place at Burgruine Kastellaun.

The castle is only a ruin, but it is a peaceful walk.

Burg Kastellaun

My thoughts are for my family, friends and for myself to find good health and forgiveness.

Black Feather

Along my walk I spotted this black feather.  Can this black feather on the path truly mean "Spiritual Healing".  I share the following:

"A healing is taking place. Your body has felt depleted of energy the last few days, and this gifting is to show you that your thoughts and prayers are being answered. Have faith and trust that you have been heard. A new adventure is on the horizon. You are being guided to let go of past hurts from an old friend. The energy of forgiveness is needed for you to move on. Forgive and let go. Allow the energy of healing to surround you. Breathe in new energy. Breathe out the past.
Your energy is being heightened and a much needed healing has taken place. You are being asked to let go and let God, Universe, Spirit to lead you now where you need to be.  Be at peace."

I can only wonder...

Dubai Camel Races, Al Marmoom

Today, the weather is still great in Dubai, so John and I went to experience Camel Races at the Dubai Marmoom Heritage Festival.  It is always an adventure just getting to the correct highway.  We arrived to see hundreds of Camels.

Great Festival

Notice the trucks in the background, these are prizes, rows and rows of them

Many cameras filming each race, the big screen shows the action
I am very curious about the camel with the checkered duds.  I wonder if he belongs to Tom or Jason Glass?  Maybe not, he did not win this race.

Camels, Trucks, Emirates, Everyone is racing.
The start line is impressive with so many camels at the gate. The owners of the camels are in their trucks, ready to drive along side.  Honking horns, cheering on their camel.
This camel turned back, along with two more, Not racing today, He says...
It is very orderly, as the camels line up for the next race
Hundreds of Camels waiting to race,

I am sure he is looking for his camels..  Behind him there are hundreds
Camels

Great view point
The Finish line has a few viewers, the owners race along the track in their trucks.
The finish line.
So Darn cute..

Decoration around the park is so cool
We had a great morning at the races, they start early here. 7 am, maybe earlier.  I thought they would be finished before noon, because of the heat.  But hundreds more to race after we left.  The races go til March 31 at Marmoom, I hope to go back.
